Completed this pen cozy for XX. It's made to order. Hope she likes it!

Finally gave SH his royalties. A cardholder and a phone/ipod cozy. If it looks similar to something i've made before, well... it's because i'm really short of gift ideas for guys... Let me know if you have any suggestions! :)

Made this reversible bag for my aunt. The exterior supposed to be all ivory and the inside's supposed to be all light maroon. In my haste, i had gotten one of the handles "wrong". i thought it turned out quite well too. But corrected it in the end cos i don't know how my 70-yr old aunt would react.

Prototype

A new cardholder that i completed this morning. This is the first item that i had calculated and wrote all the instructions on paper before started. But alas, it didn't turn out the way i planned... Dimensions need some tweaking.. and the clasp abit awkward.. Think the other design was better...

But it's the thought that counts! :)

After weeks of cracking my brains, my label is born!! Yay!! \(^^,)/ i have to give some credit to SH and WL for giving me some inspiration for the name.

Showcasing my very first products under the brand new label using my brand new machine, of course. :)

New Member to the House

I've Finally Done it! i've bought my first serious sewing machine! but it is still in the box right now. Exhausted from lugging it all the way from Spotlight! Welcome to the family. :p

Finally got something done for myself amidst all the badminton and table tennis matches these two days. But the machine is a little cranky at times.

See the skipped stitches?? Made me unpick numerous times again... Is it time to upgrade?

i'm so happy that i have "inspired" SL to sew her very first bag!! (in preparation for handmade gifts for end of the year!) Hope i get a Xmas present too. Hint hint! (^^,)

Oh no! i went fabric shopping again!! i have to make another bag (lots of birthdays this month! :p). As i had used almost all of my fabrics before, i decided to go look for more fabrics. To show my sincerity, the least i could do is to give my friends a special limited edition bag! And so here are more fabrics, just in case! (^^,)

It's all in a hard day's work

Nice things come in small packages. But small packages are the hardest to make! Finally used my much-loved pokka dot fabric but mummy said the colours not nice. (*sob sob* break my glass heart!) Next time i shall bring her when i go shop for fabric! humph!

Oh. i recycled one of my card-holders \/. Can you spot which of the above is it now??

Return to Craftland

Discovered the world of interfacing today. Ahem. Interfacing is a textile that is used on the underside of fabrics to make them more rigid.

Tested out my newly bought interfacing. Replicated one of my previous projects. Spot the differences??

Changed the direction of the fabric. The owls are now hanging upside down. :p

Added velcro fasterner.

My Weekend Getaway to Craftland

The crappy weather in the early afternoon thwart my plans to get out of the house. Decided on a crafty day instead! Alas, spent most of the afternoon sewing and unpicking, sewing and unpicking (repeat n times) this tiny simple card holder. And it still turned out pretty much imperfect. -_-"

My cute little owl card holder is still short of a fastener... (based on this) Please don't look at the seams!

And for the whole evening, i was hand-stitching some new clothes for my naked key pouch. :) Crappy pic and don't look at the stitching too!

Cushion Cover

Saw this cute and cheerful print at ikea and bought it back to make a long over-due cover for my naked office cushion. Brightens up my day when i see this print. :)

My First Zippered Pouch

I'm so proud of me! :) i've been realy afraid of zippers but i made my own pouch from the instructions i found here. Did it in about 2.5 hours. Spent most of the time figuring out how to use the mini machine that was collecting dust in the store room. The thread is all wavy, the stitches are uneven, the shape's all out, the photo's crappy. But heck! It's my very first hand-made zippered pouch! Who cares! (^^,)v
