Thank You

There was a knock on the door this afternoon. "Postman", the voice shouted. i opened the door and to my surprise, there was a letter for me! A "Thank You" card from YT and YZ!! i hope i had "opened" the card correctly...

This is what i saw when i opened the envelope...

After cracking my brains for a while... i think this is what it is supposed to look like! Isn't it sweet? :)

Back to Work

SP's a good worker today. Made a chain for mummy's reading glasses (though that was long overdue! :p)

Presents for JL's girls, YT and YZ. Hope they like it. Would be mailing it first thing in the morning! They are the same cos i dunno if they would "fight" if one has something different.

Not forgetting JL's present too. Now this is also long overdue! hee.. but i just have to make her something from this fabric. This reminds me of the porcupine that was our Sec 3 mascot. Those were the days... Glad that i've found JL am i!

Misunderstood

In support of International Childhood Cancer day on 15 Feb, Ivory By SP had wanted to spread some love and decided to donate all proceeds between 9 - 23 Feb towards the Singapore Children Cancer Foundation. Hence, items in the shoppe are tagged PIF (Pay It Forward). PIF is supposed to be a gesture of kindness and giving but it was misinterpreted to be free by a fellow blogger and etsy user. Kinda sad that good intentions get misunderstood.

Ivory Earrings

Well.. I did mention that i still have LOTS of beading supplies. I just made these! i forgot how fast these were to make as compared to sewing. i take ages to choose my fabrics, placement, cutting it before finally putting it together. Cos once i snip the fabric, there's no turning back! With beading, at least i could still recover the beads if i didn't like the way it turned out. I still need time for beading... Especially colour coordination and selection.. i'm really bad with colours. :p
